Back for Silence, reformed…

Isolation; very deadly, but sometimes could be important for the development of one’s life. It is difficult to grow, meditate, think and evolve as sentient beings in any aspect with all the noise – a symbiotic nuisance of modernity. The noise belongs to everyone and everything, so real development can only come from calculated moments of isolation, taken by the brave souls seeking enlightenment.

Isolation could be forced or voluntary. We have heard stories of ex-cons doing their best work in prison or having some kind of epiphany within the walls of their cells; and stories of great men who spend years in monasteries, country sides and caves, living as recluses, searching, working, studying, and tinkering until they achieve enlightenment

Without the eighteen month seclusion in the country during the plague, Isaac Newton might never have blessed the world with his original contributions to science. “All this was in the two plague years of 1665 and 1666, for in those days I was in my prime of age for invention, and minded mathematics and philosophy more than at any time since” he once said.

In the past few months my life has undergone some changes. I have experienced drastic transformations of my worldviews, leading to a personality change that has taken me a while to consolidate on – hence, my silence thus far.

I deeply apologize to my readers for my silence. But it was necessary for me to go into isolation to discover my path.

To my readers, thank you all for your support, especially for finding the time in your busy schedules to read my blog. Without you all there would be no tamalexblog: the curious observations of a young fellow disenchanted with society. Without you I would possess no inspiration to put pen to paper, fingers to keyboard and voice to public address system. I stand in awe of you all.

So I pray for you today:

May you all find love where there is hatred, pardon where there is injury, harmony where there is discord, truth where there is error, faith where there is doubt, hope where there is despair, light where there is darkness and joy where there is sadness.

صلى لكم .
